About

Inspired by “Treehouse Masters”, Dennis had a dream to build a treehouse. This one would be like no other. It all began with the tabs directly inserted into the trunk of the tree so the treehouse could sway in the breeze and also mindful to not disrupt the growth of the surrounding trees.

Then there was a platform. And walls. And windows – so many windows.

Each part was carefully thought out and planned for the experience and security of being in the trees. Dennis used his sawmill to craft each part out of wood sourced from our property.

While Jessica worked on sealing and painting the walls and ceiling, Dennis continued making each of the cabinets, the sink, and the front stairs.

After 2 years, Covid began. Dennis and Jessica persisted. Details on the inside were polished. The outhouse was completed. The deck was added.

The best part? When no one could go anywhere, Dennis and Jessica were able to have the best staycation in the treehouse! It’s an amazing experience to share.
